How do I go about designing golf courses?

I believe my true calling in life is to design golf courses, or at least work with those who do the design of golf courses.
I have a background in Civil Engineering so I understand the importance of drainage and storm water detention.
Just wondering if anyone out there can give me a little direction.

      The site they in order to tailor for land reclamation and trees having said all that doubt that golf design companies directly employ civil engineers and road access might be wrong.
