How many golf courses are in Canada?

How many of the golf courses are public, private, semi and resort?
I was hoping to get actual numbers. I have contacted the golf associations in Canada, but no response yet and I couldn’t find any info on their sites.

      there are lots of golf courses.

      Far too many to count. Go to each provincial GA website and you should be able to get rough numbers.
