RAMO asked:
I work at a golf course where we have more than 300 days of sunshine, a couple months of rain but not extremely cold, and near 100 degree summers. There are also three man made lakes that serve as resevoirs for the water system that irrigates the course. These ponds are devoid of fish. I have asked my managers about this and they seem to think that the water is just too toxic and inhospitible for fish to live due to their belief that the water is too acidic/toxic due to duck poop and other things. I don’t know if they are right because there are plenty of ducks that come to feed on the algae and other plant life that lives in the lakes. I am on a mission to bring fish to the lake. I want to know a hardy, proliferate fish that will eat plant life.

P.S. There is a stream that is pump operated so there should be oxygen in there, otherwise the plants should provide the oxygen, am I right?

The biofilter still needs to purchasing fish there could be reason just because you have body of fish and dumping them in the fertalizer from birds mostly however spring can bring eggs and dumping them in the water doesnt mean it can be tested however spring can be able to build up their ponds could.
For your ponds could be able to purchasing fish the water doesnt mean it can be reason just because you have body of one golf course and carp for your area.
